Shipping times, even by DHL Express, are being impacted by the additional border checks. This is beyond our control and we cannot be held liable for any delays in this regard. Please note we do not offer a guaranteed delivery day service outside the UK.
How long will delivery take?
UK orders must be placed by 2pm to ensure same day dispatch. (1pm on Mondays or days following a publc holiday)*
The speed with which your order is delivered is dependent on the type of delivery option chosen, we have a next day service on most products.
Orders are dispatched Monday - Friday.
For UK orders, 1st class is delivered within 2 - 3 working days in over 90% of cases.
Next Day Delivery
The 'Cut-Off' time for our UK Next Day Service is 2.00pm (note the exception as referenced above) - orders placed after this time will miss our delivery service. If you order after 2.00pm, your order will still be charged as a Next Day delivery and will be dispatched on a Next Day Service the following working day. Please also note the only guaranteed delivery service for a next day delivery is Special Delivery or Courier and these services only apply to week days.
Order at 1.30pm Tuesday - Delivery = Next Day (Wednesday)
Order at 2.30pm Tuesday - Delivery dispatched Wednesday on a Next Day Service - Delivery = Thursday.
Where you have ordered multiple items we reserve the right to dispatch them separately.
The 'Cut-Off' time for our UK and International Courier Service is 1pm - orders placed after this time will miss our courier collection. If you order after 1pm, your order will still be charged as a Courier Express delivery and will be dispatched on an Express Service the following working day.
In Store Pick Up
Please note this refers to you, the customer, coming to our offices here in Essex to collect your goods and not us dispatching the order to a store anywhere in the UK or Europe.
How much will delivery cost?
Our delivery charge is dependant upon the combined weight of your order.
Depending on how big and heavy your order is, we’ll choose an appropriate carrier. We post most items by Royal Mail and larger items by courier. If you are not around to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a calling card telling you how you can pick it up. If all products are not in stock at the time of order and you elect to "split" your order please note the subsequent parcel will be sent on a standard delivery service unless you specify otherwise.
Unfortunately we cannot deliver on a bank holiday. In this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day.
Do you deliver internationally?
We can deliver products anywhere as long as you are happy to pay for the postage. If you don’t see postage options for your country please email or call us for more information, we will do our best to accommodate any reasonable request.
Please note some international orders may be subject to additional shipping fees. These fees are controlled by each country's internal shipping agent and are outside the control of YHB. Please note that the recipient of the parcel is responsible for paying any customs charges.
Additionally it is solely the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the products they are purchasing are permitted for entrance into their country. YHB accepts no liability for any orders confiscated due to unauthorised purchases and cannot refund any costs incurred or refund the order. For example, courier orders to Russia must be to a business address. You place the order on the understanding that the address you have provided can accept the parcel.
If you reside in the Channel Islands but select "UK" as the shipping country and then select a next working day service, please note this will be sent by Royal Mail tracked next day which is not a guaranteed service to the Channel Islands. It would be preferable to select Channel Islands from the country dropdown and then you will be able to select the appropriate express delivery option.
Do you deliver to PO Box addresses?
Unfortunately, we can't to ship to PO Box addresses for security reasons.
Do you deliver to hotels?
We can deliver to hotels but the onus is on the customer to choose a signed for delivery option. We will not be held responsible for any delivery to a hotel that is not received.
Damaged in transit.
If your order arrives and it is clearly damaged if it is possible to sign for the delivery as damaged, please do so as this speeds up the claim process. Please also take photos of both the exterior and then the subsequent damaged items as without these, we cannot offer a refund or replacement. All damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt by email or phone. Please do not open the damaged product until you have been in communication with us.
If your order has arrived but there is an item missing and no note from us stating that another parcel is to follow, please contact us within 24 hours and retain the original packaging in case there has been an instance of theft by the courier or delivery service. Failure to notify us by email or phone within 24 hours may invalidate any replacement or refund.
Selected Shipping Method
We reserve the right to amend the shipping method chosen to give your order the added security of tracking and/or a signature. If you specifically request we send an order without tracking, you agree to waive your right to a replacement or refund if the parcel is lost. This also applies if you specify a "safeplace" and tracking indicates successful delivery.
*Delivery times are only estimates and, as we’re only human, things may go awry very occasionally. In such cases, we’re genuinely very sorry and will try to expedite your order as soon as possible, but we cannot be held liable for such delays. On Mondays and any day following a public holiday, we experience a backlog of orders therefore same day dispatch may not be possible.
**Please note that whilst we will do our utmost to dispatch orders the day they are placed, during busy periods this is not always possible. Please contact us for time sensitive orders**

Special note regarding probiotics
We ship perishable goods such as probiotics on ice and take great care to store them correctly refrigerated at our warehouse. Please note - when ordering probiotics, if you do not use a next day service or you fail to collect your order from the post office, we cannot be held responsible for your order and returns will not be accepted without prior authorisation and approval from YHB. Orders returned as uncollected may not be refunded or replaced, such cases will be dealt with on an individual basis. During the warmer months, probiotics ordered after our cut off for same day dispatch on a Thursday will be held until the beginning of the following working week unless instructed otherwise by the customer.
1st Class - typically can take up to 10 working days to arrive as per Royal Mail - no tracking.
Tracked Standard / 48 - a tracked service aiming for a 2 day delivery, successful in 94% of cases but not a guaranteed service. Royal Mail Tracked 48 service has a delivery aim of two working days for over 94% of postcodes. This means certain postcode areas will receive a three-day service
Tracked Next Day / 24 - a tracked service aiming for a 1 day delivery, successful in 94% of cases but not a guaranteed service.
Express Next Day Delivery* - a tracked service with DHL aiming for delivery the next working day.
RM - Next working day - a tracked service with Royal Mail guaranteed for delivery the next working day.
Guaranteed Saturday delivery* - not a service Royal Mail offer but Tracked Next Day or Special Delivery may be delivered on a Saturday in some cases. DHL Saturday delivery will be delivered on Saturday but the cost is reflective of the premium service.
*Please note there are some limitations to the DHL Express service. If you are deemed to live in a rural area, delivery will likely be 2 working days. For clarification, please contact us.
Globalmail Economy - typically can take up to 21 working days to arrive - no tracking.
Globalmail - a tracked service aiming for an approximate 10/14 working day delivery requiring a signature (for countries outside Europe, delivery may take up to 21 working days).
International Signed For - a tracked service aiming for an approximate 10/14 working day delivery requiring a signature (for countries outside Europe, delivery may take up to 21 working days).
DHL Economy - a courier service for Europe which takes up to 5 working days.
DHL Express - an express service for urgent orders, up to 3/5 working day delivery depending on country of origin.
